They have had to rebuild it all endeavouring to create a church as close as they can to pre-war times. The stained glass windows are beautiful. A large number of the art works surprisingly survived the war intact and have been placed back in the church. Since 1994, the annual international 'Arch Cathedral Organ' festival has been held here.
